Public debate of Municipality of Ranilug which was scheduled for 18/11/2010 was opened at 12 am.At opening, chairman of the Municipal Assembly Ranilug Mr. Djokic Radojica welcomed everyone present and gave the word to Mayor of Ranilug Mr. Gradimir Mikic.
Mr. Mikic welcomed all present and expressed his pleasure for being able to welcome so many people who are interested for municipality work .At the beginning of his presentation, Mr. Mikic reminded those who was present at the public hearing held on 20.9.2010 which were presented the projects which was inplemented during this period , but more importantly the projects that were in phase of inplementation and the projects that were planned by Municipality of Ranilug.Present citizens had an opportunity during the presentation (slide show) to see Finished projects "Water supply to four villages – Pančelo, Tomance, Malo Ropotovo,Veliko Ropotovo", "Building of bust to Duke Lazar Hrebeljanovic", "Purchase of 150 containers, " "Supply of trucks for garbage collection", "Purchase of trucks for road maintenance -grader, "Regulation of steam Veliko Ropotovo", "Replacement of flooring-Trajko Peric Elementary School", "Cleaning the dumps", "Financing of sports organizations in municipality and cultural events", "Employment of 40 workers for a period of two months for public works in the municipality" , and many other projects that were announced at the public debate in september.
Mr. Mikic said that the municipality will remain on the same track and up to try to implement as many projects this year that will benefit all residents of the municipality address Ranilug.After Mr. Mikic word are respectively given to department directors who were presenting work of their departments and empoyes.Present citizens and representatives of international organizations were able to see for themselves the transparency of the municipality and had the opportunity to ask the question the leadership of the municipality in writing way based on the law on organizing a public debates.There were presented the projects that will be implemented by the end of the year, and projects that are under implementation.
Citizens’ questions were answered by the order, the mayor, vice-president and directors of departments.Debate was attended by more than 80 interested citizens who were generally satisfied with the presentation of the municipality.
At the closing of the debate, Mr. Mikic has announced two projects to be implemented next year that will open new jobs oportunities, in fact it is about opening new factories in the municipality Ranilug for processing fruit and vegetables that will employ about 500 workers and spa-recreation center, whose owner will be obliged to hire the 60% of his workers from Ranilug Municipality.Mayor called all present to be informed about daily events in the municipality of Ranilug at offices of municipality in villages V. Ropotovo ,Domorovce and also the municipality Internet website – kk.rks-gov.net on which there is a new application”Ask the President” and ”Ask the Municipality”. Questions can be posted anonymously and the municipality is obliged to answer all your questions forward in time 7 days.
Public debate was closed in 14 hours.
Public debate was held which was attended by about 80 interested and representatives of international organizations.
