23/11/2010 at 13 hours, Mr. Mark Fleming – Deputy Chief of the political economic sectors in the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo visited the municipality of Ranilug the premises in the village of Veloko Ropotovo. Mr. Fleming expressed his wish to meet with the leadership of the newly formed community, therefore the meeting was attended by Mayor of Ranilug Mr. Gradimir Mikic, Chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Ranilug Mr.Radojica Djokic, Vice President for Community, Mr. Lulzim Canaj and Deputy Chairperson of Assembly of Ranilug Ms. Violeta Tomic.
In the discussion that held in a friendly atmosphere, Mr. Fleming became acquainted with the situation in the municipality Ranilug and work of the municipality as well as problems and needs that the municipality has and with enviable results that the municipality of Ranilug achieved in the period of 11 months since is constituted.
Mr. Mikic expressed great satisfaction at the initiative of Mr. Fleming to get know about work of municipality of Ranilug.Meeting was closed to mutual satisfaction and desire for the more frequent meetings and cooperation.
